Convertible table lamp

Described in Benson's 1899-1900 catalogue as a "Combination Bracket and Standard", this lamp has its original finish. The tripod base features a hole in one of its feet, allowing it to be easily mounted on a hook above a standard Victorian bed's headboard and function as a reading lamp.

It also features Benson's patented switch design and adjustable bulbholder to easily control the direction of light.
